So, its been awhile since I psoted on this website. I have been busy as hell with final school projects and cadets. Ive had essays and presentations and exams due at school, while cadets jsut got more hardcore. I have my basic tuesday night training MY green stars, then wednesday Im with the band, thursday nights Im out with the shooting team, then all day saturday, from 0900-1639 I have NSCE training. Finally, on sunday, I have Biathalon from 0800-1200, then shooting from 1300-1630. *sigh* So, I only have mondays and fridays off. I like to use those days to sleep in. But, if their is time, I will have fun with everyone LOL.

Its come down to this...

So, the holidays have ended. They were an interesting two weeks. Some nights were fun, some stressful, some boring, and some tiring. The beginning began well with thoguhts of a new relationship, but they died away. I dunno, maybe i should jsut enjoy my friends. They are the reason I was able to leave Jess. But anyways, enoguh of that. Cadets ahs begun already and my final training has begun. I am striving hard to be the best, as I am not only competing against my corps, but all of central ontario. HUA<br />So yeah, School starts tmrw. I jsut finished my uni application and I will be handing in my RMC application forms this week. It will be a very busy month this January: Cadets, University, Interveiws, and Exams.

Countdown: 2 days left

So, there is two days left til lthe new year. Cant wait. I have lots of plans with Trami to go skating, movies, and jsut drive around all night looking for fun stuff to do. Which is pretty much whut we did today lol. We got together and first we stopped by GW and I got to see Ash again. Its good to see he's still alive and well. LOL But yeah, then we went looking for Suzie's present, which is when I got dragged into an underwear shop for a good 20minutes. LOL oh well. So, then we went and saw Cheaper By the Dozen 2. It was good, it had its laughs. SO yeah, when i was dropping Trami off at home, I let her try driving my manual SUV. She got the hang of it first try so hey, maybe I'll let her try again on new years. So, tmrw Im not doing anything special, but when New Years eve comes...thats when the fun begins. lets see whut happens shall we....

So last night was a special night. It all started with rushing to school to be on time for the christmas carols with the band in the hall. After that it was just messing around and killing time with friends until the annual christmas concert. I was working backstage with Damian woring the curtain. THe show was alright, although some of the acts were jsut horrible. After the show, my day finally begun. The night was very sepcial for me, and I hope it was as special to her as it was for me. Now it all comes down to one desicion...

One hell-of-a-week --- Hoo-rah

So, this week is soooo bloody busy for me.It started sunday when I had to go to school from 8am-about 4pm rehersing the Encore show. That that was basically my entire sunday. On monday, I had school, but I had another rehersal right after school. SO that was antoher busy day. Tuesday I didn't go to band becuase I was sooo freaking tired. So I went to school, and after, I set up for wednesday's feeder school show. Also I had my cadet christmas dinner that night where I got my gold star and gold fitness badges. So yeah, yesterday was hella-fun but hella-busy. Got to school at 8am to double check the equipment and then we did our first show for a real audience. It went over very well. Then I sadly had to attend class having cleaning up. After school I set-up AGAIN and then I went home for 30min before driving my sister to work then going to the school to get ready for opening night. Encore is deffinaetly an awesome show. I highly reccomend everyone seeing it. SO yeah, today is thursday and I have another show tonight as well as another show Friday. Friday is our final show and it has an after party after th show (go figure). I cant wait for that. But other then that...besides being busy...this as been an amazingly interesting/awesome week so far. Lets see how far things go... Hoo-rah....

So tonight at cadets was the big night: Promotion night! It was an awesome night and some really good people got promoted. Cuzner and Moskal got M/Cpl, Robyn got Warrant, and Pratt got CSM of Alpha. But, of course, the most important promotion was that of M/Cpl to Sgt for King, Hill, and myself. SGt.

So, friday night I went off for the weekend to CFB Boarden, again, to do another weekend exersice. This time I was put in charge of a section of red and silver stars. I had an awesome group with only one weak cadet. Regardless we were still able to perform to the best of our abilities. It all began with the bus ride to boarden in which i spealt listening to my MP3 player. When we got there we got our rucks and sleeping bags and such and went to sleep after packnig our rucks with evything except for the sleeping bags. In the monring we all ate our IMP breakfeasts and contiued to finish packing our rucks with the sleeping bags. Once this was done,I was given my map and compass and began to plot my points so that we could gather the equipment needed to finish our Biv site. We successfully collected all of our stuff and contiued to the Biv site where we set up the tents and such and then rested till dinner. After dinner we went out to do our night activity. We were to ambush two vans with snowballs and glowsticks. Unfortunately, our first two points were incorrect and we missed the first two oppurtunities but, the final ambush in which every single section was supposed to take part in, we were the only ones there and so we still got to ambush a car. ANyways, we went back to the Biv site and sleapt again, waking up the next morning to take down the entire biv site, re-pack our rucks, and head back to Boarden to hand in our issued kit and go home. The ride home was nice, I sleapt quit well. And when I got back to lakeshore I was so tired, but I had to walk home because no one was picking up their bloody phone. *sigh* anyways, that was my experience, and so a new week begins and I am planning on taking these next few days easy. My legs hurt!

Driving Everywhere...

Well, yesterday was long and busy. Started off with driving to school for my 7am Concert Band Practise. Then from there I attended my classes. Same old shit as every other day, and I went home and had a quick power nap before the real fun began. First I drove my sister to work up at SQ1. Then I contiued on and picked up Berlane who wanted to join cadets. SO, from her house I went to pick up my mom from the GO Station, then dropped her off at home, and finally got to cadets. berlane was so shy. It was cute LOL. But the day was good. I love my green stars. They always are enthusiatic. I guess they were jsut excited that we were making a tent "inside." LOL So anyways, the night went well. Im not sure if Berlaine is going to come back, but we will see next week wont we. So, that was my story, and I'll have more tonight most likely depending on who gets Drum Major for the upcommnig Santa Clause Parade. Pce out

Half-Days are pointless!

Today was soooo boring, lazy, and pointless. WHy does the school have half-days? For me, who only has two REAL classes, it was pointless. I really should have just stayed home and slept in. My 30 minute music class we played A song. In english we watched a bloody movie. And my last class, str. training, no one showed up for. So then i drove home and took a nice long relaxing nap after watching Blade Trinity. thats pretty much been my day. So pointless. Anyways, thats my little rant for today. Pce out

Cadets ROCKS!

So, last night at cadets, I was just an assessor. That means I was makring instructors on their classes. The first class I was watching was Debbie's. It was a map and compass class and it was pretty good. She kept them all entertained with a treasure map contest so im hoping they all learned their stuff. Oh, did I mention? Im now in charge of the green stars! This is so awesome. Now I can teach them HUA, Honor, and Respect. These green stars are gonna love their classes. ^_^ SO um yeah, later on in the nite, when i was outside assesing a drill class, i ended up teaching King how to drive stick in the parking lot. He did alright. But yeah, so that was that. My week is gonna be busy. I have poppy sales friday, gold star training saturday, and a parade on sunday (not to mention getting together with Jess afterwards). So anwyays, I should be getting off to school now...Later kids.

So, last night I went to the movies with Mark and Adam. THat was fun. We went to go see Doom. It was an awesome feeling when I was asked for ID and I said...here ya go. LOL Being 18 rocks LOL. Anyways, after the mvoie we hung out in the arcade and met up with Celeste and her friend Stephanie. We pretty much all the left at the same time and I quickly went to sleep after talknig with Jess for an hour. <br /><br />Woke up the next morning and went off to my first Gold Star training session. It wasn't too bad. PT test first thing, and im kicking myself for being 2pts off from gold star fitness. Its ok though, I'll learn get there next week. But yeah, we contiued on to do flag party drill, followed by many hours of grueling in-class work. Meh, my first day is done. SO, now im just gonna relax for the rest of the day and hopefully get together with Jessica shortly.

Awesome Weekend

Well I know its monday and I should be doing my newly assigned homework, but, Im not gonig to do it. LOl this weekend was awesome. It all started friday when i went up to Alpha HQ for the ZET expedition. I got their at five and as other cadets slowly started to arrive, and waited until abotu 9:30 when the bus finally arrived. We got there and after all the business we had to get through, we finally went to bed at 1am only to wake up for 6am the next morning. On the bus ride from boarden to our expedition site, everyone slept. Just goes to show less then 5 horus of sleep does not cut it. When we arrived at our site, their was familiarization training wit hthe mountain bikes and canoes. Once tthis was finished, we headed up to a local church where we would be spending the nite. We dropped off our all our kit and then got back o nthe bus to go to our mountain bike orienteering start point, where we were divided up into teams. I had an awesome team and we called ourselves team Calcatta. why? I sitll dont know why. But anyways, the 4-hour race was awesome. Me and Nestor were the first two teams back, but his team won the orienterring in pts. SO, we ate IMP dinner around the camp fire after the other two teams arrived 2 hours late, and then went to sleep till about 7. Then we cleaned up, packed everything, ate our breakfeast, and then got transported to the canoe site for our 14km canoe race. Wow...that was the worst part of the entire trip for me. I cannot canoe. Me and my partner got a hang of it fianlly abotu 2/3 of the way through, and so i was the last canoe in. Oh well, my team ended up comming in fourth place over all, so it wasn't that bad. The ride home i meant to sleep, but i ended up talking with everyone instead. After getting dropped off back at Alpha HQ, i said my good byes, and went home to shower and clean up and have Jess come over and share an awesome evening with me. I missed her so much, glad she was able to come. But yeah, that was my weekend and now I have to suffer through another week of school. Blah...

Operation Canadian Ranger

Alrite this was an awesome weekend. My first weekend Ex as an NCO. I was on advance party with M/Cpl King, thw two Moskos, and Policelli Jr. Its was pretty easy, and we got everything ready in no time. So after getting the equipment ready for the cadets when they arrive, we all played a game of baseball with the officers. Good times. Then we all watched the Family Guy movie on Shepard's protable DVD playter till the bus arrived. Then we all got the kids off to bed and woke up the nest morning to PT. Luckily me and King were making the breakfeast so we were not stuck with running the PT test. Then later on I got attached to Sgt King's group and ptu in charge of an awesome seciton with Debbie, Trami, Shirlyn, and some other kids. They were really good. So yeah, first we went off to the marksmenship range were i helped the kids shoot and load properly. Then we went to the abseil tower where we repelled off the tower. Afterwards, all the section leaders had to run throguh feild signals with the kids. My group loved it becuase i made it a little bit more violent and militaristic. For example: <br />ME:"Can anyoen tell me this signal?" <br />Cdt:"Garbage sweep?"<br />ME:"No....i call this the machien gun, becuase we use this so walk up an open feild so that if a machine gunner starts to fire, we can easily find his position from where the soldeir dropped dead."<br />Cdt:"Whut about the guy who was shot."<br />ME:"Better me then him....Next!"<br /><br />So yeah, after dinenr we all got together and did Capture the flag for 3 hours all over boarden. There were three teams and i was on the yellow team as 2ic. it was great fun and after finding the enemy base i was able to sneak in, but I was caught by Shirlyn so I ran for abotu 20 minutes with half of the red team behind me....I got back to my own base and my right side was numb, but i still prevailed onwards after a fve minute break. SO yeah, slept so well that night and got to sleep in till 7 rather then 5:30. But yeah, sunday was pretty basic. Hand in issued kit, count issued kit, eat breakfeast, then play sports with the kids till the bus arrives. I got to stay inside(haha suckers) and go over drill with a group kids. Then, on the way home, i couldn't sleep, but i got an awesome massage which really helped the back and shoulder. And that was my weekend. I came home and changed otuta my crusty combats and showered. So, i got back to school tmrw and then another weekend ex this weekend too so, Im gonna go rest. <br /><br />MMM:<br />Oven catches fire. Large flame. Flame gets put out.<br />Tanner:"Now watch, that is going to be the talk-of-the-hour for hte next five mintues with these stupid kids."<br />Moskow:"So true."<br />M/Cpl King comes running up.<br />King:"OMG guys! Did you see how big that flame was!"
